Robert J. “LJ” Edgar, Jr.

Mr. Edgar, 31, Coalport, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at UPMC-Altoona from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in Beccaria Twp., Clearfield county. He was born on January 23, 1983 in West Palm Beach, FL. a son of Robert J. Edgar, Sr. and Cynthia L. (Weaver) Kraft, both of Altoona. On June 18, 2011, in Utahville, he married Constance L. Dillen who survives along with 2 daughters Haylee Rayne Edgar and Alexis Dawn Mayes, both at home. Also surviving is a brother Samuel C. of Altoona, his paternal grandmother Barbara Edgar of Altoona, nieces and nephews Ginger, Vahta, Boyd, Jr., Derek, Bailey, Jason and Mackenzie and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Jim and Betty Weaver, paternal grandfather Robert M. Edgar and uncle Jimmy Weaver.

LJ was a warehouse worker at Mid-State Tool and Supply, Duncansville He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, hanging with friends, spending time with family and especially loved his best friend, his dog Scoobie.

Friends will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow on Tuesday March 4, 2014 6-8 pm with memorial services held at 8:00 pm with Pastor Preston L. Hutchins, Jr. officiating.
