For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with
a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the
air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Dorothy I. Yingling
Mrs. Yingling, 95, a resident of The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, and formerly of Blandburg, died on her 95th
birthday Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the home. She was born on February 2, 1919, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Clyde
H. and Catherine M. (Deppen) Hescox. On February 19, 1938, in Cumberland, MD., she married Clair L. Yingling who died December
10, 1999. She is survived by five children: Barbara J. Barnes of Bedford, OH., William L. (Rita) of Flinton, Nancy L. (Jack)
Hamel of Hollidaysburg, James C. (Carol) of Tyrone and Jon C. (Sharyl) of Lexington, KY., 15 grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren
and 13 greatgreatgrandchildren. Also surviving are six siblings: Charles L. of Mountaindale, John of Hollidaysburg, Bob of
Martinsburg, Elizabeth Hockenberry of Flinton, Shirley Nordgulen in Arizona, and Dawn Troxell of Glasgow. She was also preceded
in death by a brother James, two infant brothers, and two sisters Jean Miller and Ivon Kuhn.
She retired in 1980 after being employed for 11 years as a clerk at Kmart, Altoona. She was a member of the Blandburg United
Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting.
Friends will be received Thursday 2-6 pm and Friday 10 am until the 11 am funeral services at the McQuown Funeral Home,
Glasgow with Pastor Timothy Guyer officiating. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. In lieu of flowers please make
memorial contributions to the Blandburg United Methodist Church.
