For the Lord himself will come down
from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ
will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet

Laura M. Lender
Mrs. Lender, 82, Clearfield, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Mt. Laurel Nursing Center. Born September 10,
1931 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late William H.A. and Laura (Lilley) Richards. On May 12, 1986 in Kylertown she married
George Lender who died August 15, 1998. Surviving are a son Floyd C. Burgess of Clearfield, a sister Linda Brown of Downingtown
and a brother Henry of Parkesburg. Also preceded in death by 4 brothers: Joseph, John, Charles, Robert, a sister Myrtle Raden
and 5 infant brothers.
Laura retired in 1995 as a Nurses’ Aide at Clear Care, Clearfield and had been a personal care giver prior
to that. She was a member of West Side United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at the McQuown Funeral Home Saturday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Preston Hutchins
officiating. Interment in Utahville Cemetery, Coalport, RD. Friends received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, Saturday
noon-2 pm..
