Charles D. “Chink” Lovell
Mr. Lovell, 82, Blandburg, died Tuesday May 28, 2013 at ARHS-Altoona. He was born on August 25, 1930
in Blandburg, a son of the late Frank I. and Iva M. (Thomas) Lovell. On June 17, 1951, in Blandburg, he married Stella M.
Heverly who survives along with two daughters Phyllis A. (Mark) Giguere of Sulphur Springs, TX and Mmarsha L. Lovell (Joseph)
Belgin of Coalport along with 6 grandchildren David R. Cherry, Kylie J. (Jeremy) Myers, Randy S. (Holly) Williams, Barbara
M. (Charlie) Usry, Anthony J. (Bobbi) Belgin and Andrew J. (Teresa) Belgin and 9 greatgrandchildren Miya, Taylor, Jack, Caden,
Eli Charles, Brittany, Robby, Miranda and Alissa. Also surviving are seven siblings Betty R. Hescox of Hollidaysburg, Sally
J. Meyer of Odenton, MD., Iva M. Walter of Bellwood, Nancy A. Hann of Lakemont, Margaret J. Miller of Willowick, OH and Susan
E. McGowan of Montville, OH and Thomas L. of Latrobe.. He was also preceded in death by two brothers Arthur and James and
two sisters Ellen Britton and Marian Gates.
He was a 1948 graduate of Reade Twp. High School, was a member of the Blandburg United Methodist Church,
was a Life and Charter member of the Reade Volunteer Fire Company, where he had served as Company Treasurer for 25 years.
He was current Treasurer of the Glendale Area Food Bank.
Friends will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow on Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Wednesday
from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am services with Pastor Mitchell Hescox and Deacon Janie Hiller officiating. Interment in Pleasant
Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
