Mrs. Plowman, 51, Fallentimber, died Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her residence from an apparent heart attack. She
was born December 7, 1967, in Huntingdon, a daughter of the late Thomas E. Hughes and Mary (Merkel) Gray, of Silver Springs,
FL. On December 21, 2012 in Altoona she married Kenneth M. Plowman, Jr. who survives along with three children Joshua S.
(Ciara) Vaughn of Saxton, Elisha L. Hallett and her fiancé Herb Housel of Duncansville and Victoria F. Plowman of Everett
and five grandchildren including Laylani Vaughn who lived in the home. Also surviving are two siblings Tom Hughes of Apollo
and Tina Hennessey of Altoona and her mother and stepfather Glenn.
Sara was 1986 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School and was a retired Activities Director at the Hollidaysburg
Veterans Home.
There will be no viewing. A memorial service may be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral
Home, Glasgow. Please make memorial donations payable to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
