Mrs. Hockenberry, 70, Flinton, died unexpectedly at her residence Friday, September 28, 2018. She was born December
15, 1947 in Seneca, PA. a daughter of the late G. Russell and Edna A. (Nelson) Watson. On February 14, 1985, in Coalport,
she married Fred Hockenberry who survives along with a son Neil F. Hockenberry and his daughter Alex of Pleasant Gap and
a daughter Carly E. Hockenberry of Miami, FL. She was also preceded in death by a sister Diane L. VanAllen.
Jackie graduated from Cranberry High School and received her Bachelor's and Master's in Education degrees from Clarion
University. She retired in 2006 after being employed for 33 years as an elementary teacher at Glendale School District.
She belonged to the Coalport Garden Club and the Glendale Cancer Support Group.
Friends will be received Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 5-7 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow and then at Josie's
Restaurant, Coalport immediately following.
