Miss Kaufman, 89, Altoona, and formerly of Van Ormer died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at her residence. She was born October
31, 1928 in Johnstown, a daughter of the late John E. and Rose M. (Webb) Kaufman. Early in her life she was adopted by the
Charles and Margaret Shomo family of Van Ormer. She is survived by three children Michael E. (Juanita) Kaufman and Cindy
J. (John) Wissinger both of Flinton and Shelia D. Sutton with whom she lived, and a son-in-law Daniel DeWitt of Gallitzin.
Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Toni
DeWitt, a son-in-law John Sutton and these siblings John, Buddy, Harry, Christine Shilling and Betty Gittings.
Ann was a member of the Hope Community Church of Altoona.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 11:00 am until the 11:30 am memorial services at
Glendale Valley Spirit & Truth Church, Irvona. Kim Kozak will be the Speaker. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
