Mr. Gedman, 61, Coalport, died Thursday, May 17, 2018, in the Abington Hospital emergency department. Born October
6, 1956 in Greensburg he was a son of the late Andrew S. and Mary Ann (Janos) Gedman. On September 1, 1990, in Hollidaysburg,
he married Carole A. Daus who survives along with a daughter Avril M. Gedman of Dayton, OH. and a son Mitchell F. Gedman,
at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Anna Marie Roy and Shirley and three brothers John, Paul and
Andrew.
Michael was a 1974 graduate of Yough High School, Herminie, PA., was a member of the Patton American Legion and was
employed as a cable TV supervisor with Communications Construction Group, LLC of West Chester for 28 years. He enjoyed hunting,
fishing and watching NASCAR.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Mary Church, Hollidaysburg with Fr. Tony
Legarski officiating. Interment will be in Alto-Reste Cemetery, Altoona. Friends and family will be received at the McQuown
Funeral Home, Glasgow Monday from 2-4 & 6-8.
