Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores
my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Verna E. Hemskey
Miss Hemskey, 79, Beaver Valley, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at her residence. Born October 16,
1935 in Beaver Valley a daughter of the late John and Eva D. (Gates) Hemskey. Surviving is a brother Jack L. of Fisherville,
VA. and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four siblings Lemoine S., Iona M. Black,
Jay and infant sister Helen.
She was a 1954 graduate of Beccaria-Coalport-Irvona High School
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday November 8, 2014 at the Coalport Christian &
Missionary Alliance Church with Pastor Isaac Stuart and Rev. Tom McGill officiating. Friends will be received at the church
from 1:00 pm until the time of services. Interment was in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton. Arrangements by McQuown
Funeral Home, Glasgow.
