James W. Hollen

Mr. Hollen, 82, Hollentown, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at his residence. Born April 16, 1930, in Hollentown, a son of the late Lemuel E. and Hazel M. (Scott) Hollen and on November 27, 1952, in Ramey, married Lillian D. Baylin who survives along with three daughters Kim B. (James) Doerr of Atlanta, GA., Lisa A. (John) Link of Patton and Patti (Mark) Miller of Manchester, MD. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren and a sister Betty A. Sailor of Erie. He was also preceded in death by a brother Lemuel.

Jim was a 1948 graduate of Reade Twp. High School and retired in 1981 as a truck driver for Peerless Trucking of Curwensville. He was a Life Member and Benefactor of the NRA and was an antique car enthusiast.

Friends will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, Wednesday 10-noon and 2-4 with the funeral services embedded at 3:00pm with Pastor Joe Hollen officiating, Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
