Stephen E. "Trash" Duke

Mr. Duke, 64, Columbus, OH. and formerly of Blandburg, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, OH. He was born March 9, 1954 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Edward R. and Minerva E. (Scott) Duke. On December 26, 1985, in Columbus, OH., he married Paulette S. Muncy who survives along with two daughters Karen M. Duke of Blandburg and Amy J. (Matthew) Nelson in Bahrain, four grandchildren Hannah, Christian, Liam and Levi and two sisters Christine L. Duke of Tyrone and Kathleen A.A. Jena of Blandburg. He was also preceded in death by a brother James.

Steve was a 1973 graduate of Glendale High School and served in the United States Navy during the Persian Gulf War. He was employed as Chemical Operator for GFS Chemicals in Columbus and was a member of Iron Brothers LEMC Motorcycle Club in Columbus where he was affectionately known as "Trash".

With his quick wit and sense of humor Steve leaves the sounds of laughter echoing in the wind and smiles on the faces of all those who knew him.

Friends and family will be received 4-8 pm Saturday, December 1, 2018 at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow (Cambria Co., PA.) where a funeral service outside of Mass will be held Saturday evening with Fr. Robert Reese officiating. Military honors accorded by the Coalport VFW Post #7043. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
