| Leon E. Hancock |
Mr. Hancock, 77, Glasgow, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at UPMC-Altoona. Born August 18, 1939 in Pensacola, FL.,
he was a son of the late Guy C. and Leona A. (Blocker) Hancock. On July 2, 1977, in Arlington, VA. he married Donna K. Noel
who survives along with seven sons Leslie C. Hancock of Bumpass, VA., Devin K. Hancock of Elkton, VA., Kent D. Hancock and
Loren W. Hancock of Martinsburg, WV., Dana I. Hancock of Charlotte, NC., Shawn L. Hancock of Louisville, KY. and Jasen G.
Hancock of Winchester, VA., one daughter Nicole R. Hancock of Martinsburg, WV., eight grandchildren and two siblings Thomas
W. Hancock of Ruskin, FL. and Mary A. Morris of Zephyr Hills, FL. He was also preceded in death by two half-brothers Keith
Haller and Dale Haller.
Leon was an elevator mechanic in the Washington, DC and surrounding areas. He was a member of the Eagles, Moose,
and Elk Lodges and a social member of the VFW, all in Florida and was a member of the Bavarian Club and Unter Uns Society
in Altoona.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or services. The McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, is in
charge of his arrangements.
